Airport advertising
With airport advertising, you reach an international and affluent audience. Airports are interesting hubs for people, cultures and brands. People from all over the world regularly come together here, from tourists to business travelers and trade fair visitors. Between check-in and departure, passengers spend a lot of time, go shopping and actively consume airport advertising. Berlin Airport holds a variety of interesting advertising spaces, from large banners to cleverly placed showcase posters.
With the opening of BER Airport (Berlin Brandenburg “Willy Brand”) and the subsequent closure of the city airport in Tegel, advertisers then no longer have to choose between the airports, but reach all Berliners and Berlin visitors bundled at BER.
Statistics show that around 67% of passengers are private vacationers and around 33% are business travelers.
However, the percentage of business travelers is higher, especially for trade fairs and trade conventions. Airport advertising is particularly interesting for advertisers if they want to rely on high reach and a higher net household income.
- Residence Germany 61%
- Dwell time more than 60 minutes 78%
- Proportion private travelers 60%
- Proportion that are men 55%
- Proportion that are women 45%
